Beliefs in Motion works with sincere committed individuals.  Such individuals take the time that is necessary to inform themselves thoroughly on all that our Stop Smoking Program has to offer.

It takes approximately 15-20 minutes to avail yourself of all the information that you need to make a wise decision.

Make yourself a cup of java or herbal tea, RELAX and take the time that is necessary to understand, evaluate and appreciate all of the key benefits of our program.

Having done so, you'll likely draw the same conclusions as many others have before you.  This is an original “one- of- kind" Stop Smoking Program that is truly affordable, ingeniously effective and it pays for itself (literally).

What are your options?

Option #1

Willpower

(Cold turkey or gradual reduction over time)

According to the Cochrane Review Study (independent research firm), those who quit smoking unassisted using only willpower, only 5% remain smoke free after 12 months.  Within 12 months, 95% start smoking again.

Conclusion:

95% Failure Rate!  Not a good option.

Option #2

Nicotine Replacement Therapy

(N.R.T.: Gums - Patches - Inhalers)

According to the Cochrane Review Study, those who quit smoking using N.R.T.(gums, patches, inhalers), only 7.5% remain smoke free after 12 months.  Within 12 months of quitting, 92.5% start smoking again.

Conclusion:

92.5% Failure Rate!  Not a good option.

Option #3

Laser Therapy

There are no independent research programs evaluating the effectiveness of Laser Therapy.  Since Laser Therapy does not address the mental side of addiction/habit, one can rightfully assume that the success rate is very low, perhaps similar to NRT (7.5% Success rate).

Many of our clients tried Laser Therapy before - clearly Laser Therapy did not work for them.

Conclusion:

Mental side of addiction not addressed.  Not a good option.

Option #4

Prescription Drugs

There are no independent research programs evaluating the effectiveness of stop smoking prescription drugs.  These drugs usually come with multiple warnings of side effects, some light, others serious.

In the last few years there have been numerous recalls of these types of drugs.  Sales of the drugs were suspended due to serious neuropshychiatric symptoms including depression and suicidal tendencies.  (be forwarned!)

Since the drugs do not address the mental and emotional side of addiction/habits, their success rate is likely to be similar to NRT & Laser Therapy (7.5% Success rate).

Conclusion:

Side effects and serious health risks are high.

Not a good option.

Option #5

Hypnosis

Hypnosis is recognized for the following:

1.  Entertainment

2.  Stop Smoking

3.  Weight Loss

4.  Elimination of fears

(ex: fear of flying)

There are 3 distinct kinds of hypnosis:

1.  Pre-scripted (canned) hypnosis

"one size fits all"

2.  Custom tailored hypnosis

"to fit the individual"

3.  Advanced hypnosis

Custom tailored hypnosis to fit the individual using advanced cutting edge mind and body intervention technologies, that work synergistically with hypnosis for maximizing results.

Option #5.1

Group Hypnosis

Generally speaking, group hypnosis sessions (2 or more individuals hypnotised at the same time) costs less than one-on-one personalized hypnosis programs.  Group hypnosis has a very low success rate however.  It is a "one size fits all" approach.  Some will quit permanently. Some will quit for awhile and later start smoking again.  The overwhelming majority do not quit at all.

This is a generic form of hypnosis that does not take into consideration your unique smoking and psychological profile.  Not everyone has the same issues or triggers or mind set to fit the "canned" presentation.  Will you be part of the extreme minority who quits permanently?

Will you quit for awhile and start smoking again later?  Will you be part of the majority where it does not work at all?  Are you a risk taker?

Are you willing to gamble your money, your time and your efforts, only to find yourself back to where you were...smoking again?  This can be frustrating and discouraging.

Group hypnosis is nothing but a cash grab for the hypnotist and a source of disapointment and disillusionment for the end users.  Mike M. Proulx refuses to do stop smoking group hypnosis because results are notoriously poor.

****************

Here is what the President of the largest & most prestigious Hypnosis organization in the world had to say about stop smoking group hypnosis....

"Phone hypnosis and generic CDs are easy for a person to use, but without the personal attention and observation given in an office session it's just like group smoking or weight operators who come to town for a day - only a negligible percentage of their attendees will get results."

Quoted by Dr. Dwight Damon, President of National Guild of Hypnotists.  The Journal of Hypnotism, March 2009 issue.

Conclusion:

Group hypnosis has a HIGH FAILURE rate!

A terrible option - save your money!

Option #5.2

Individual

"one-on-one" Hypnosis

Using standardized scripts

Most Hypnotists use scripts.  Scripts are part of their trainning.  Scripts are a way to standardize their education in order to be certified.  They have scripts for weight loss, stop smoking, fear of spiders, fear of flying etc...

The intention behind canned scripts is honorable.  It is intended to introduce a level of conformity and standardization.  The downside of ready to use scripts is that they do not allow for flexibility in a real life therapeutic situation.

Standardized scripts are a "one size fits all" approach. If your life experiences, smoking triggers and unique mind set do not fit their "canned" approach, then the hypnosis sessions are likely to fail.  For some a "canned" approach will work, for others it will not.

Conclusion More successful than group hypnosis because your sessions are done one-on-one, the individual rapport and trust adds to the success.  While this is a better option to group hypnosis, it is still fraught with risk.  Not a good option.

Question:  If a one-one-one canned presentation can have some success, would'nt a custom tailored version (to the individual's personality and smoking profile) work even better?  Common sense would dictate that it would, and indeed it does.

Option #5.3

Individual

"one-on-one" Hypnosis

Using "Customized" scripts

Most Hypnotists use canned scripts.  They are a product of their standardized trainning.  Hypnotists that put in the extra effort to customize their hypnosis sessions to the individual's smoking profile, thinking profile etc.., have much higher success rates.  These Hypnotists have questionnaires and other investigative protocols to draw out of you all of the detailed information necessary for customization.

Example:

A generic standardized script will not take into consideration the unique fact that you have a very stressful relationship with your mother in law.

So here's a scenario: Your mother in law calls on the phone asking for you, and you instantly go into a high stress mode, which triggers you to automatically (unconsciously) reach out for a cigarette to calm your nerves.  You may have many other potent triggers like this one that are totally unique to YOU and if they are not addressed properly in hypnosis, you will start smoking again.

Conclusion:

Customized hypnosis increases the success rate dramatically.  A very good option.

Option #5.4

Beliefs in Motion

uses ONLY

Advanced Hypnosis methods

that are

fully custom tailored

to YOU for MAXIMUM RESULTS!

Advanced Hypnosis

A multi page questionnaire is completed at your first session to thoroughly assess every aspect of your habit/addiction to cigarettes.  All hypnosis sessions are customized to the individual's smoking profile.

The client's real life experiences between sessions also provide important feedback that is used to further customize the intervention as needed.

This flexible and adaptive approach ensures that all issues are addressed, therefore adding to the overall success.

The following mind intervention tools are supportive in nature.  They enhance and increase the overall effectiveness of the custom hypnosis sessions.

 Neuro Linguistic Programming (N.L.P.)

N.L.P. is used to assess your prefered method of thinking.  This assists the Hypnotist in further refining his approach to your "unique smoker's mind set" for maximum results.

The N.L.P. Hypnotist, cannot read your thoughts.  He can only determine your method of thinking with this technique.

Keep in mind that this is a tool used to increase the effectiveness of Hypnosis.  It is not used as a stand alone method for stopping smoking.

 Emotional Freedom Technique (E.F.T.)

E.F.T. is a form of acupuncture without the needles.  It is acupressure simplified for very specific uses.

It is something that you do to yourself by pressing with your fingers on specific areas of your face and hands.  It is simple and easy to learn.  A child can learn it in less than five minutes.

This is a gentle physical experience that you do to yourself; the Hypnotist does not touch you.  It is actually quite fun to do and is a highly effective adjunct to hypnosis.

 Structured Intuitive Methods (S.I.M)

S.I.M., this is a catch-all phrase to mean that the Hypnotist has received specialized "intuition" training.  The S.I.M. Hypnotist cannot read your thoughts - he is not psychic in that sense.

We all have intuition.  It can be developed through specialized training.  Your Hypnotist (Mike M. Proulx) is using his intuitive skills (his hunches) to further refine the process to meet your individual needs.

Wise Economic Move

If you are a one pack a day smoker at approximately $8 per pack, you are spending $240 per month.  That translates into $2,800 per year, $14,000 in 5 years, $28,000 in 10 years, $42,000 in 15 years!

What will you do with an extra $2,800 per year?

Our Stop Smoking Program pays for itself "literally"!
